And onwards …
We hope you’ve enjoyed this journey with John over the last
8 weeks. A regular habit of reading God’s word and talking to him in prayer is
one of the best routines to get into. Those of us who have contributed to these
readings would say we are a long way from being perfect in these practices. Far
from it! But we would all say how regularly reading God’s word has fed us and
done us good in so many different ways. Like eating regular meals, whether we
can remember what we ate or not the next week, we have been nourished and
sustained. Our hope and prayer is that we all go on being fed by him in the
days and weeks to come.
Perhaps the experience of reading the Bible regularly is new
to you. Perhaps over the course of this last month or so you have developed an
appetite for going deeper. If either (or both!) of these things apply to you
then the resources below may help you with the next stage of the journey.
